On our tour this afternoon the fog had cleared in Johnstone Strait and Blackfish Sound when we headed out. Our sightings included two Humpback Whales, one was well in the distance, the other nearby enabling all to watch its dive sequence with its flukes lifted high. Other sightings were: Dall’s Porpoises, Pacific White-sided Dolphins, Stellar Sea Lions, Harbour Seals, Rhinoceros Auklets, Pigeon Guillemots, Common Murres, Red-necked Phalaropes, Bald Eagles and four Eaglets in their nests, Mew and Herring Gulls.
