Bald Eagles and Crows ~ the sequence!

IMG_2138 IMG_2144 IMG_2145 IMG_2146 IMG_2147 IMG_2150 IMG_2162 IMG_2163 IMG_2164 IMG_2167 IMG_2171 IMG_2174 IMG_2176 IMG_2182 A Bald Eagle caught my attention this afternoon when it flew onto the piling with a freshly filleted salmon skeleton that it began to eat immediately when some crows flew in to investigate, hoping for some scraps. Another Bald Eagle calling from a piling further down the beach arrived within moments landing on the piling while the other took flight taking its feast with it. The second eagle was left on top of the piling with the crows, all of them missing out on the tasty morsel.
