Yesterday was one of those days in which one could not help but sit back and simply enjoy the magic as it played around us. With light SE winds blowing a warm breeze our way, we were able to ‘sail with the humpback whales’ in Blackfish Sound; there were three of them working the area in wide circles making their way west in back eddies and east in the flooding current. It was fabulous to watch as one surfaced and then another in the opposite direction and then a third nearby, time and again. The entire tour was brilliant, beautiful and exciting, with glorious scenic viewing, the cloud formations passing through were breathtaking and the bald eagles soaring high, it was fantastic!
