A brilliant day of viewing

What a time we had today even while it rained and the wind did blow. Our sightings included two Humpback whales, small groups of Dall's porpoises and two Harbour porpoises. The whales were taking long dives and we observed them and the porpoises feeding in the flooding current. Other sightings: Stellar sea lions, California sea lions, Harbour seals hauled out and swimming, Rhinoceros auklets, Pigeon guillemots and Belted kingfishers. It was sheer magic ~ we all enjoyed the Raincoast on display today!
