Orcas, Orcas

The area was full of Orcas today. All the G clan I pods were in the straits today and we had wonderful times viewing them on this morning's and this afternoon's tours. This morning the whales were spread out foraging all across the strait while this afternoon they spent much of their time resting. Some of the animals made their way amongst or around the islands while others stayed in the deep water of the strait vocalizing through out. This has so far been the dryest and warmest summer we know of and today has been no exception to that trend.
